John Sembe MORLU II

Responsible for global operations of JS Morlu, LLC, CPAs, and its affiliate firms worldwide, John receives timely feedback on all operations. He is the former Auditor General of Liberia (2007-2011). He was recruited under a European Union Contract to build the first Supreme Audit Institution in Liberia. He produced the first independent audit reports of various ministries, departments, agencies, and state-owned enterprises of the Government of Liberia. Prior to his appointment as Auditor General, he worked at a Fortune 500 company, privately held companies, and an international not-for-profit. He has conducted audits, operational reviews, and program evaluation in the USA as well as more than 11 countries in the former Soviet Union and Haiti. He holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from the University of Virginia, Master’s in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University, and an MBA in Finance from the Carey School of Business, Johns Hopkins University. He also holds multiple professional accounting, forensic, business and project management certifications. He is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana.
