Ing. Anthony Mark Yaw Esiape

Ing. Esiape is a highly accomplished electrical engineer with over 20 years of experience in electric energy management, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and strategic project implementation. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in Sustainable Energy Management at the University of Energy and Natural Resources in Sunyani, Ghana, further enhancing his expertise to tackle the evolving energy challenges of the future.

As the Executive Director of Engineering Strategies & Innovation at JS Morlu, Ing .Esiape spearheads the division that drives transformative advancements in engineering and technology. Under his leadership, the division harnesses cutting-edge technologies and strategic insights to develop and implement innovative solutions that address complex challenges across various industries. Ing .Esiape and his team leverage their deep technical knowledge and industry experience to create solutions that meet current needs while anticipating future demands. Their integration of innovative engineering practices with strategic foresight is pivotal in advancing client goals and contributing to a more sustainable and efficient future.

Ing. Esiape’s career is distinguished by his transformative impact on Ghana’s energy sector. Before joining JS Morlu, he held significant roles at the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG), including General Manager of Renewable Energy Technologies. There, he developed a comprehensive renewable energy and energy efficiency strategic plan, played a key role in designing and integrating Ghana’s first electric vehicle charging station, and was instrumental in rehabilitating street lighting systems across regional capitals. His achievements also include leading the connection of a Level 2 electric vehicle charger to the national grid as Manager of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.

In addition to his technical accomplishments, Ing. Esiape has managed World Bank-funded projects and developed strategic frameworks that have garnered international support. As a National Expert with INTEGRATION Environment & Energy GmbH, based in Germany he provides expert guidance on renewable energy and energy efficiency business models for major energy companies in Ghana.

Ing. Esiape is a proud member of the Ghana Institution of Engineering (MGhIE) and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in the UK. His educational background includes a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Kharkov Polytechnic Institute, renamed National Technical University, Ukraine, and an Adult Education Teachers’ Certificate from Southgate College, London. Fluent in English and proficient in Russian, Ing. Esiape’s technical skills are complemented by a strong foundation in project management, problem-solving, and innovative thinking.
