Thelma is an ambitious and highly motivated graduate holding a BSc in Business Administration with a Second-Class Upper Division from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Currently serving as an Accounting Associate at J.S Morlu Ghana, her academic background has equipped her with a robust understanding of business concepts, particularly in accounting. Known for her collaborative spirit and the ability to take initiative, she possesses effective communication skills, both written and spoken.
Thelma’s journey at J.S Morlu Ghana is inspirational; she initially joined as a National Service Personnel in 2023 and demonstrated exceptional dedication, securing permanent employment before completing her service. Her proficiency in accounting is marked by her skills in QuickBooks, Draftworx, and Excel. She is also known for her leadership, initiative, and practical finance experience.
During her time at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Thelma engaged with the ACCA club, acquiring valuable insights into areas such as Taxation, Business Finance, and Economics. At Notre Dame Girls Senior High School, she achieved excellence in the WASSCE exams, securing the Head Girl position in the 2018/2019 academic year, and was an active member of the Table Tennis Team.
Thelma gained practical experience as an intern in accounting roles at Quality Control Company Limited and Sunyani Regional Hospital. In these positions, she played a crucial role in supporting finance teams by handling diverse tasks, including issuing tools and materials, writing receipts, issuing invoices, and contributing to the preparation of reconciliation statements. Her core skills encompass good judgment, self-motivation, meticulous attention to detail, unwavering commitment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Eager to bring these skills along, Thelma is currently contributing her valued accounting skills and gaining more experience in a professional environment at J.S Morlu Ghana.
